PENAJAM PASER UTARA, THE NUSANTARA POST-Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets all of the construction workers’ residential towers for the National Capital City (IKN) of the Nusantara to be completed in February 2023.
“Perhaps around February this year it will be completed, and the construction worker’s dwelling will be ready for occupancy,” said the Head of the Ministry of PUPR’s IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan as quoted by The Nusantara Post from Antara , Friday (13/1/2023).
It is planned that the Ministry of PUPR through the IKN Infrastructure Development Implementation Task Force will build 22 towers for IKN construction workers’ housing and 9 towers have been completed.
The purpose of building construction worker housing is for workers to be in one area.
The construction of construction workers’ housing is intended as a prototype or demonstration of housing for workers as well as supporting personnel that need to be provided by development actors, by encouraging the participation of non-APBN financing sources as much as possible.
The concept of housing for IKN construction workers is to prevent slums, mobilize workers massively, optimize budget use, and minimize construction time.
The residential capacity of IKN construction workers consists of one tower of experts with a capacity of 288 people.
Meanwhile the 21 towers are skilled workers where 9 units of tower type A have a capacity of up to 6,912 people, and 12 units of tower type B have a capacity of 9,408 people.
The IKN construction worker’s residence is equipped with a number of facilities, such as a mosque, mess hall, shops, offices and clinics.
Previously, Head of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (IKN) Bambang Susantono said the progress of the construction of the new capital city was proceeding according to schedule or on track, especially for the provision of housing for construction workers.
Bambang also revealed that the provision of worker housing is a new approach in efforts to humanize construction workers.
The IKN construction worker’s residence was carried out by KSO PT Wijaya Karya Gedung and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk with a contract value of IDR 567 billion. The residence was built using modular technology (Wan)

Pembangunan Hunian pekerja konstruksi IKN Ditargetkan Selesai Februari
PENAJAM PASER UTARA, THE NUSANTARA POST-Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) menargetkan seluruh tower hunian pekerja konstruksi Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara selesai pada Februari 2023.
“Mungkin sekitar Februari tahun ini sudah selesai, dan hunian pekerja konstruksi ini sudah siap untuk dihuni,” ujar Ketua Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Pelaksanaan Pembangunan Infrastruktur IKN Kementerian PUPR Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga di Penajam Paser Utara, Kalimantan Timur seperti dikutip The Nusantara Post dari Antara, Jumat (13/1/2023).
Rencananya Kementerian PUPR melalui Satgas Pelaksanaan Pembangunan Infrastruktur IKN membangun 22 tower hunian pekerja konstruksi IKN dan yang telah selesai terbangun sebanyak 9 tower.
Tujuan pembangunan hunian pekerja konstruksi tersebut adalah agar para pekerja berada dalam satu kawasan.
Pembangunan hunian pekerja konstruksi tersebut dimaksudkan sebagai prototipe atau percontohan hunian bagi pekerja maupun tenaga-tenaga pendukung yang perlu disediakan oleh para pelaku pembangunan, dengan semaksimal mungkin mendorong partisipasi sumber-sumber pembiayaan non-APBN.
Konsep hunian pekerja konstruksi IKN sendiri adalah mencegah kekumuhan, memobilisasi pekerja secara masif, optimalisasi penggunaan anggaran, dan meminimalisasi waktu pembangunan.
Kapasitas hunian pekerja konstruksi IKN sendiri terdiri dari satu tower tenaga ahli dengan kapasitas 288 orang.
Sedangkan 21 tower tenaga terampil di mana 9 unit tower tipe A memiliki kapasitas hingga 6.912 orang, dan 12 unit tower tipe B memiliki kapasitas 9.408 orang.
Hunian pekerja konstruksi IKN dilengkapi sejumlah fasilitas, seperti masjid, mess hall, toko, kantor dan klinik.
Sebelumnya, Kepala Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) Bambang Susantono menyebut progres pembangunan ibu kota baru itu berjalan sesuai jadwal atau on track, terutama untuk penyediaan hunian pekerja konstruksi.
Bambang juga mengungkapkan bahwa penyediaan hunian pekerja tersebut menjadi satu pendekatan baru dalam upaya memanusiakan para pekerja konstruksi.
Hunian pekerja konstruksi IKN dikerjakan oleh KSO PT Wijaya Karya Gedung dan PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk dengan nilai kontrak Rp567 miliar. Hunian tersebut dibangun dengan menggunakan teknologi modular (Wan)
