BEIJING, THENUSANTARAPOST.COM – The arrival of President Prabowo Subianto in Beijing, People’s Republic of China (PRC), on Friday evening, November 8, 2024, was enthusiastically welcomed by Indonesian students studying in the country.
The visit by the newly inaugurated president sparked a sense of pride among Indonesian citizens abroad.
After arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport, President Prabowo proceeded to the hotel where he was staying, where he received a warm reception from Indonesian students and citizens who had been eagerly waiting in the hotel lobby. They were waving the red and white flags and eagerly awaiting the precious opportunity to meet the Head of State.
One Indonesian student, Reva, expressed her joy after meeting the President. “I feel so happy, we’ve been waiting for so long, and Pak Prabowo is very friendly. I hope he always fulfills his duties with integrity,” she said with happiness.
Alongside Reva, other students like Frank and Deril also felt incredibly special to meet President Prabowo in Beijing, not in Indonesia. “We got to meet Pak Prabowo directly, especially since this is his first meeting after being inaugurated, it’s very exciting,” said Deril. They hope that the relationship between Indonesia and China will continue to grow stronger, and that the collaboration between the two countries will benefit Indonesian students in China.
Additionally, Jenifer, a student from China studying Indonesian, was also present for the event. For her, meeting the President of Indonesia was a very valuable experience. “I am so happy to meet President Prabowo.
