These are the Five Documents of Agreement between Indonesia and China in Bali

BALI, THE NUSANTARA POST- The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) held a bilateral meeting with the President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping, at The Apurva Kempinski Hotel, Badung Regency, Bali, Wednesday (16/11/2022) afternoon.

On this occasion, the two leaders witnessed the signing of five cooperation documents that had been agreed upon by the two countries in a number of fields. The five documents are:
1. Action plan for joint promotion cooperation within the framework of the world maritime axis and the belt and road initiative;
2. Memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the joint development of a center for conservation, research and innovation of Indonesian-Chinese medicinal plants;
3. MoU on industrial sector vocational training;
4. Memorandum of understanding on increasing digital economic cooperation; and
5. Agreement on further expansion and deepening of bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

Apart from that, President Jokowi and President XI Jinping also witnessed the trial operation of the Jakarta-Bandung fast train.

In his introduction, President Jokowi expressed his hope that the Jakarta-Bandung fast train could operate in June this year.

“I am optimistic that this fast train can operate in June 2023,” said the President.

Apart from fast trains, the two leaders also discussed the progress of cooperation in other fields. One of them is regarding cooperation in the health sector and the development of a COVID-19 vaccine.

“In early October, I inaugurated the first mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine factory in Southeast Asia, owned by PT Etana Biotechnologies,” he said.

Meanwhile, President Xi Jinping expressed his appreciation for holding a series of G20 meetings under the Indonesian presidency which could promote global economic recovery.

Ini Lima Dokumen Kesepakatan Indonesia Dan Tiongkok Di Bali

BALI, THE NUSANTARA POST- Presiden  Joko Widodo (Jokowi) melakukan pertemuan bilateral dengan Presiden Republik Rakyat Tiongkok (RRT) Xi Jinping, di Hotel The Apurva Kempinski, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Rabu (16/11/2022) sore.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, kedua pemimpin menyaksikan penandatanganan lima dokumen kerja sama yang telah disepakati kedua negara dalam sejumlah bidang. Kelima dokumen tersebut adalah:
1. Rencana aksi kerja sama promosi bersama dalam kerangka kerja poros maritim dunia dan belt and road initiative;
2. Nota kesepahaman (MoU) pada pembangunan bersama pusat konservasi, riset, dan inovasi tanaman obat Indonesia-Tiongkok;
3. MoU tentang pelatihan kejuruan sektor industri;
4. Nota kesepahaman peningkatan kerja sama ekonomi  digital; dan
5. Persetujuan perluasan dan pendalaman kerja sama bilateral ekonomi dan perdagangan lebih lanjut.

Selain itu, Presiden Jokowi dan Presiden XI Jinping juga menyaksikan  uji coba operasi kereta api cepat Jakarta-Bandung.

Dalam pengantarnya, Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan harap agar kereta cepat Jakarta-Bandung dapat beroperasi pada bulan Juni tahun.

“Saya optimis kereta cepat ini dapat beroperasi di bulan Juni 2023,” ujar Presiden.

Selain kereta cepat, kedua pemimpin juga membahas mengenai progres kerja sama di bidang lainnya. Salah satunya mengenai kerja sama di bidang kesehatan dan pengembangan vaksin COVID-19.

“Di awal Oktober yang lalu, saya telah meresmikan pabrik vaksin COVID-19 berbasis mRNA pertama di Asia Tenggara, milik PT Etana Biotechnologies,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, Presiden Xi Jinping menyampaikan apresiasi atas penyelenggaraan rangkaian pertemuan G20 di bawah presidensi Indonesia yang dapat mendorong pemulihan ekonomi global.

“Saya ucapkan selamat kepada Yang Mulia yang berhasil memimpin KTT G20,” kata Presiden Tiongkok (Wan)
